Hold Onto Your Hats!
I created the Victoria Street Press newspaper for Deco Publique’s Street pARTy event celebrating the completion of a series of large-scale public artworks on Victoria Street in Morecambe Town Centre.
The design of the newspaper is based upon The Sands & The Seas mural painted by myself and Faunagraphic; and is inspired by stories from Morecambe’s local weekly paper, The Visitor, which had been produced on Victoria Street for over 100 years.
At the Street pARTy event I facilitated a workshop called Hold Onto Your Hats! where people came along and folded my newspapers to make their own wearable hat.
