This project by the amazing Pester & Rossi was produced as part of my Artists & Residents programme in Gallowhill, Paisley.

Pester & Rossi worked in collaboration with S4 students @paisleygrammar @pgs_artdesign to create images based on phrases from letters of advice written by senior school students to new pupils starting high school in August. The font was made through a series of collaborative printing and performance workshops using bodies and objects from the classroom.

Five of the posters were installed outside @paisleymuseum throughout summer 2020 – and a full set of the ten artworks created were installed in the communal social spaces at the school.

Pester & Rossi also produced a range of fundraiser tee shirts – printed by @we.are.wildandkind in Glasgow’s east end on ? % organic cotton shirts using plastic free water based inks. All profits were donated to Renfrewshire Women’s Aid who provide advice, support, information and safe accommodation for women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse in Renfrewshire.
