Seaside Sculpture Day took place in the West End Gardens on Morecambe Promenade in August 2016.

Piles of reclaimed timber were transformed into a boat yard. The seafront resonated to the sound of sawing, hammering and laughter with mums, dads, kids and grandparents all working together to build their own nautical sculptures.

Other activities included block printed flag making and rope splicing with extra fun added to the day by Inner State parading around the park in their Boat-with-Legs!
