Dream Again permanently installed at Byker Primary School, Newcastle

The artwork in its original location at the Toffee Factory, Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle.

Spot the difference! Worked out on paper, then translated into the landscape…

The author David Almond walking along the Winged Tales of the North route.

Dream Again
Dream Again is a bright, bold and playful installation created as part of my Winged Tales of the North street art trail inspired by new flash fiction by acclaimed children’s author David Almond.
After featuring in the street art trail as part of the Great Exhibition of the North – the work was relocated to Byker Primary School, where it is on permanent display.
Once, you dreamed that you could fly.
Dream it again in this valley now.
From where would you rise?
Picture yourself above this lovely place.
Dream yourself into the Newcastle sky.
